Ragnald IV, King of Man from 1187 to 1229 , known by some texts in the name of Reginald, the son of Godfred V Man. It would have usurped the right to rule to his brother.

In the early thirteenth century , he had to pay a double tribute to Norway and in 1206 to John Lackland , king of England he became the vassal in 1212. This is the first time the England interfering in the affairs of the Kingdom of Man. However, it will take several centuries for the Isle of Man become the English and the islands remain, this time under the suzerainty of the King of Norway.

From 1224 he had agreed to share his kingdom with his half-brother Olaf who was, according to some sources, the rightful heir to the throne. On 14 February 1229 , Ragnald is killed during a fight on the Tynwald Hill.Selon his vow he was buried at Furness Abbey.
