First Certificate In Franais

The First Certificate in Franais (CFE) is an international examination attesting to a certain level of proficiency in the English language. This is the third degree by level of difficulty offered by the organization Cambridge ESOL (Franais for Speakers of Other Languages) depending on the University of Cambridge. It corresponds to level B2 Vantage defined by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages of the Council of Europe.

It is possible to prepare the FCE in many language schools abroad that offer training and mock tests as part of a living language. The British Council is the organizing body of the review. Entrance fees to the review amounted to EUR 181 in 2010.
