(lowercase: ), called Alpha Latin, is an additional letter that is used in writing the NUFI of Mbembe . It is part of the General Alphabet of Cameroon Languages . Her tiny form is also used by the International Phonetic Alphabet.

Her spelling is based on that of A tiny latin; shape capital is simply derived from the tiny spelling. Its form is sometimes used for a letter in some orthographies (like Akwapem Twi or Fanti ) or certain fonts.
