Political parties of the Isle of Man , which played no role in the political life of the island until elections in 2006 , are:
Parties in activities
In the elections of 2001 the House of Keys , the Labour Party reaped 17.3% of the votes and won two seats. The vast majority of House seats were won by independent candidates. In the elections of 2006 , the Liberal Vannin Party (shape mutated Mannin, "Manx"), newly formed, won two seats: Onchan Peter Karran, and Douglas -south with Bill Malarky. In 2007 , he also won two seats in elections for local government.

Mec Vannin, although in its early years, a full-fledged political party, has evolved into quasi-group pressure.
