Pidgin

The term pidgin ( name male ) means different languages used simplified created on the vocabulary and some structures of a basic language, usually European ( English , Spanish , French , Dutch , Portuguese , etc..).

Linguists distinguish the pidgin creole based on the level of structuring the language .

Note: Pijin (note spelling) is a pidgin based lexically English spoken in the Solomon Islands .

According to some research suggests that the Melanesian pidgins are not derived directly from English, but the Pacific pidgin English spoken in the nineteenth century by sailors and merchants in the South Pacific .
