Received Pronunciation
Received Pronunciation (RP) is the pronunciation of British Standard, also known Franais Oxford, Queen's or BBC Franais Franais.
It is the prestige dialect in England but there's no particular prestige in other English speaking countries . There are other pronunciations of English in the British Isles , for example when we talk about the London ( Cockney ), there is also the Estuary English , the English Welsh , the English North , the English Irish and Scottish English.
