Hasn't Islam always been at war with the West?

Ever heard of the Barbary pirates? Need I remind you of the Ottoman Empire's constant harassment of Eastern Europe? The Moor's invasion and conquer of Spain? And today's final conquest of Europe through attrition and immigration? Islam's attrition in India, the Philippines, and China, as well as Canada?

Why do you people keep apologizing for Muslims? They are clearly the aggressors.

And before you knee jerk, and remind me of christian expansionism, I know, and I am not christian. And that's not the point. Christian expansionism was abandoned a long time ago.
