Rushen is a parish administrative sheading of Rushen and the census of 2001, 1,504 residents. It is a district agricultural and fishing at the southern tip of the island.

The villages of Port Erin and Port St Mary are with the parish's administrative Rushen, also in the parish island Rushen (the other two parishes island sheading are Arbory and Malew ).

The constituency of Rushen, which covers most of the sheading Rushen (excluding Parish Malew nor the city of Castletown ), elect 3 MHK.
