Simplified English

Simplified English is a controlled language originally developed for the needs of industry Aerospace. She has a carefully restricted subset of English and standardized. This is an example of simplified English.

His supporters ensure that plain English is able to:

  • reduce the ambiguity;
  • improve understanding between people with a mother tongue other than English;
  • make translation easier and less expensive;
  • facilitate machine translation.

It has a lexicon of approved words, to remove some difficulties which may eventually lose some sense they have an English classic. Click the word can be used for example in the sentence "Close the door" ("Close the door") but not in "do not go close to The Landing Gear" ("do not approach the landing gear).
