The Zealand (in Zealand in Dutch is a regional language spoken in the Netherlands in the province of Zealand and the island of Goeree-Overflakkee (province of South Holland ).

Usually considered a dialect of Dutch, with the latter Zealand has significant differences, mainly in pronunciation, but also in grammar and vocabulary, which lead to significantly differentiate them and make them difficult to understand unfamiliar with Dutch with this "option" regional.

Some linguists consider Zealand as a local variety of West Flanders , forming with the latter group Southwestern dialects of Dutch.
